Privacy policy
We collect as little as possible. You can play without an account. Last updated 2026-10-24.
Who is responsible
Óscar Medina Amat, España. Contact: [email protected].
What we use your data for
To let you play and keep your progress. An anonymous player identifier in a cookie (gdh_pid) and the result of each run: puzzle, attempts, score and time. It contains no name, email or IP address. Legal basis: providing the service you asked for.
To measure how the site is used, without cookies. For each visit: the page, language, kind of device, the site you came from (only its domain), the approximate country the network reports, how fast the page was and the errors it hit. A visitor code that changes every day is built from your address and browser and cannot be traced back; the address itself is never stored. Nothing is sent if your browser says Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and improving it.
To report a problem with a puzzle. The puzzle, one fixed category (no free text) and your anonymous identifier. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in fixing mistakes.
To answer you if you write to us: your email address and your message, for as long as the matter lasts. Legal basis: your request.
Cookies and storage on your device
This site sets only the cookies it needs to work, which need no consent: gdh_pid (your anonymous player identifier, 1 year, renewed with use) and gdh_locale (your language, 1 year). Local storage on your device (never sent to us) remembers whether sound is on and which puzzle help you have already seen. You can delete all of it in your browser settings. Our own visit measurements use no cookies.
Who receives it
Our hosting provider (OVHcloud, Alemania) and the network that delivers and protects the site (Cloudflare). No one else receives data from this site. We do not sell data.
Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare may process data in the United States. They do it under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Anonymous progress: while it is active, and deleted after 12 months without use.
Our own visit, speed and error measurements: 14 months.
Problem reports: 12 months. Emails: while the matter lasts.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. To find your progress, send the value of your gdh_pid cookie (you can read it in your browser's settings). We answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
Changes
If we change what we collect we update this page and its date. A new use that needs your consent asks you first.
